The BuildOffsiteEU project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme, has published its third newsletter, aimed at training providers and centres, sector educators, construction workers, large companies, entrepreneurs, and SMEs in the construction industry. This edition presents the latest developments in the transition from traditional to industrialised construction.
A key highlight of this issue is the comparative analysis of training provision conducted by project partners across the five participating countries (Spain, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, and North Macedonia) to identify and address skill gaps at EQF levels 3, 4, and 5. As a result, a common framework for the training itinerary has been designed, facilitating the adaptation of vocational training programmes to the new skills required in industrialised construction.
Additionally, one of the key dissemination activities featured in the 3rd newsletter is the Info Day held in Italy, which provided an excellent opportunity to present the analysis and validation methodology used in BuildOffsiteEU, as well as the results achieved so far. This event has helped expand the network of stakeholders interested in the project and strengthened its impact on the industrialised construction sector.
