The BuildOffsiteEU consortium is made up of five organisations from five European countries, four of which are full members of the European Union (Greece, Slovenia, Italy and Spain) and one candidate country (North Macedonia). The composition of the partnership is based on the weight of industrialised construction, the profile of the participating organisations and the objectives pursued. 

Fundación Laboral de la Construcción. Spain. Coordinator

The FLC works to provide companies and workers with the necessary resources to promote safer, more professional and qualified training in the construction sector. Its training offer focuses on construction activities, with special attention to those that facilitate energy efficiency, using cutting-edge technology and materials to meet the training needs of SMEs and workers. Its training offer covers the different activities of the sector, being eminently practical and of high quality, with the aim of specialising workers, contributing to their labour, professional and personal development in order to achieve a safe, modern, digitalised, inclusive and innovative sector.

Pedmede Someteio (Pedmede). Greece

The Panhellenic Association of Engineering Contractors for Public Works (Pedmede) represents the construction sector in Greece and in Europe. It has 15 regional departments, covering the entire national territory, and a separate section for companies, cooperating closely with national public authorities, government representatives and key stakeholders representing the sector, formulating policies and initiatives aligned with sustainable development, digitalisation, circular economy, the EU Green Deal, the wave of rehabilitation, climate change and energy efficiency.

Gospodarska Zbornica Slovenije (GZS). Slovenia

GZS is composed of sectoral business associations, regional associations and professional departments, offering all kinds of services to companies (especially SMEs) to support them and create a favourable environment for their development. Among its activities, innovation plays a key role, providing advice and services to help them develop new products and services, investigate more efficient processes and improve their productivity. GZS contributes to the development of policies, recommendations and legislation that are decisive for the implementation of European legislation and regulations following the Green Deal.

Istituto per L’ Istruzione Professionale dei Lavoratori Edili della provincia di Bologna (IIPLE). Italy

For more than 70 years, the Istituto per L’istruziones Professionale dei Lavoratori Edili della provincia di Bologna has been providing training for all professional profiles in the industry, updating, qualifying and training workers, as well as professionals and young people wishing to join the sector, being a reference organisation to meet the educational needs of professionals and companies. It provides tools that help to professionalise the workforce by responding to business demands to increase their competitiveness, bringing and attracting young people by facilitating their incorporation into the sector; and collaborating at European level with other organisations in the field of energy efficiency, sustainability, safety and the environment.

K&S Skopje. North Macedonia

The Centre for Knowledge and Skills Management (K&S Skopje) is a non-profit association, which implements education programmes that improve the professional qualifications of working people, the performance of educational institutions and the public sphere, enhancing social cohesion, and helping to improve the competitiveness of the national economy for sustainable growth and development. Its main objective is to improve the professional skills of beneficiaries by using innovative learning and knowledge and skills management tools, applying a multidisciplinary approach, and supporting the demand for skilled labour in key objectives of the construction industry (energy efficiency, energy efficient construction and digitalisation).

Spanish Association of Industrialised Construction (Offsite Construction HUB, OCH). Spain

It is a space where companies, institutions, professionals, startups, entrepreneurs, and other actors come together to promote learning, collaborative work and co-creation, and to respond to the challenges of offsite construction/manufacturing/production. Its main objectives are: to foster the improvement of the quality of construction processes in general; to promote development and innovation for the transformation of the sector and its entire value chain to achieve highly ecological and affordable constructions through the application of digitalisation, industrialisation and sustainability; to establish quality standards; to integrate the corresponding institutions in the value chain so that administrative processes innovate jointly and in parallel with the sector and its evolution; to promote the pooling of all the actors involved in the process and to improve the social perception of the construction sector.
