Centre K&S Skopje organised a BuildOffsiteEU information day in Skopje (North Macedonia) to present the results of the project to the public
On 8th April 2024, the project partner Knowledge and skills management Centre K&S Skopje, from North Macedonia, has organized the national project Info Day of the “BuildOffsiteEU: Off-site industry-towards innovation in construction sector” project, which is co-funded by the European Commission under the framework of Erasmus+ Programme and is implemented in the following EU countries: Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Italy and North Macedonia. The event aimed to spread information about the ongoing activities toward reskilling the workforce for the transition from traditional to industrialised construction in order to respond to the needs for climate change adaptation.
The event was organized as open public platform in order to obtain information for the necessary skills to be upgraded, to enable easy transition of the workers to industrialised construction, improve implementation of energy efficiency measures and the circular economy and to share recommendations. This approach created a good environment to produce conclusions for the upcoming project activities for developing new training pathways for workers in the building sector and driving to broaden project stakeholder’s network.
The event was promoted as part of European Sustainable Energy Week, EUSEW 24, in the frame of Sustainable energy days at the link.
