As coordinator of the BuildOffsiteEU project, the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción participated in the meeting on industrialised construction held in Seville on 18 July 2023, as part of the as part of the project’s planned activities. The objective was to complete the information for the analysis of industrialised construction systems.

During this working group session, a presentation of the BuildOffsiteEU project and the participating experts set the stage for discussions related to the project’s objectives, several topics related to the objectives of the project were discussed: the role of SMEs in the transition in the conversion to industrialised construction, digitalisation throughout the transformation process towards this new way of working, the skills needed for this and how to introduce them in the training process, modular construction, among others.

The diverse viewpoints shared by the participants have significantly contributed to a comprehensive understanding of the discussed topics, thus enriching and facilitating the achievement of the project’s objectives.
